rainy saturday
This is the first weekend I have stayed in town since the start of May. There are a lot of festivals and parties planned around the city as per usual Winnipeg summer activity, but we are experiencing the wickedest storm. I am on dog-sitting duty this weekend, so am curled up on a chair in my pjs, cranking the jazz tunes, and reading a nice, easy book. Soon, I may get up and make some tea. And I think that might be the greatest activity I undertake today. Coincidentally enough, my cell phone battery is even dead, so I probably won't even to anyone. It is embarrassing for me to admit that I like having this day all to myself.
