what i think is wrong with the world
I met Nick Lachey at LHR last week, and it seems to have become the defining story of my month in Africa. I didn't know who he was, that he had a #1 song, or that he is famous for a reality tv show. I did have some vague recollection however, when he mentioned Jessica Simpson.
I have never professed to know anything about the social/hollywood life that is occurring around me. In fact, never mind cable, I don't even have a single television channel. So, the fact that everyone is so interested in my airport rendezvous is rather disturbing to me.
And worst of all, few of my friends have any idea who Barack Obama is, who I am much more excited about having met.
