3 juillet 2006, 17:53 schools I feel like I should write about what I am actually doing here, in Kenya. The problem is, despite always having a lot to say, by the time I've finished filling out the tedious log forms, I no longer feel like writing. So - I love it. I miss having children in my life and being in Kenya has totally reminded me of that. There are kids every where you turn - walking home from school, selling fruit, or herding their goats across the street. It is so fun to have little ones chase after you (or, equally as often, run away from the scary mzungu). We actually spend go to primary schools, but I see the little ones often enough that it is still what occupies most of my time. In the schools though, my favourite group is the form 3s (grade 11) and my favourite part is after our session, when we have time to just hang out and chat - especially with the girls. Careers talk is okay, but I prefer to chat about school or life in Canada or boyfriends or anything normal thing. Mind you, I am not convince that it is always Cosmos-mission valuable.
