Should I make another attempt at this open communication thing knowing full well that it will be abandoned in short order? Probably not, but seeing as I have 22 minutes to kill and I am too lazy to continue working on work stuff and too tired to absorb anything requiring greater than a 4th grade capacity, I will give it a shot.
Sadly enough, I have nothing really interesting to report. Ever heard of seasonal affective disorder? Well, I seem to have been trapped by it for the first time this year. It isn't even really cold out, but not having a vehicle means that I would rather lie on my couch than bundle up and wait 2 hours for the bus. Granted, I am still doing the museum thing and the ski patrol thing and the swimming thing and the music thing and many other things, but it's just so toned down from my normal spring/summer/fall level of activity that it annoys me. Boo Hoo right?
Okay, I'm done with the little rant. I really shouldn't complain. I just got back from a holiday MT/BC/AB ski trip and over the next couple of months will find myself in Ottawa, Dublin, Banff, Morristown, and with a little luck, Cologne. In the meantime, I will put my headphones in, crank the tunes, and party in my office.
Thanks for helping me to waste some time. I miss you all.
