Science world announced today that the first wolphin to be born in captivity is alive and well. What is a wolphin you ask? Well, other than the stupid name, it is possibly the coolest animal I could think of - half killer whale, half bottlenose dolphin. If I don't show up to steak night tonight, or at least to work on Monday, you will know that I am on a mission to steal myself a wolphin.
And, on a completely unrelated topic, I am so happy to be back in Canada and following the music scene. I went home for 4 days last week, where I caught the awesome likes of Choke, The Reason, and Ghosts of Modern Man at the Apollo. Tonight I will be hitting up Cowboys for Default, followed by the Weakerthans, The Donnas, and Jazz Fest over the upcoming 5 days. I even bought earplugs to celebrate the occasion and my ever-decreasing capacity to hear. Until then . . .
