on mondays i eat potatoes
To those who have checked this site unfailingly for the past several months, hoping for a glimmer of effort from me, I salute you.
To those who have faithfully updated their own blogs regularly, providing distraction to the otherwise monotonous lives of others, I salute you.
To those who are still my friends, even when I can’t find the time to recognize your hard work, I salute you.
To those who manage through a terrible loss, all the while asking about my day, I salute you.
To those who are brave enough to cut their losses and follow their dreams, I salute you.
To those who pick me up when the white-out is so bad I can’t see my feet, I salute you.
To those who accompany me on wild ski trips, keeping me happy, I salute you.
To those who follow me to $4 Fridays, which are probably equally important for my mental health, I salute you.
To those who send me emails even though I am not so swift in responding, I salute you.
To those who recognize the importance of community spirit, I salute you.
To those who are changing the world and don’t even realize it, I salute you.
To those who are changing me, hopefully for the better, I salute you.
To those who taught my boys to fly, I salute you.
To those who showed me that I can teach with my camera, I salute you.
And to those who are willing to put up with this me for at least another 2 months, I love you.
