Step 4.5: Temporary setback, 2 fortnights later
It has been a month. A full month since I have been back at CFM, and I must admit, plans haven't changed all that much. The truth is, as far as settling for a part-time job goes, I picked a pretty good one. The money is, well there, and I know and love the people I work with. It is easy just to slide back in, as if I never left, without having to worry about loads of administrative garbage, reading about the organization, or wasting time filling out info sheets. On the day I arrived, my to-do list was 38 items long and I am still struggling to get them all finished. Unfortunately, most of every day is currently spent reading about child porn.
Anyway, on the job search front, I have yet to apply for a real job. I don't know what my problem is (this is not an invitation). I just can't be motivated to apply for something that I don't absolutely love. Don't settle, just wait for those wacky Americans to come around about their friendly neighbours. Right? Right. K good. I should probably get back to work then.
