Step 3: Assess the Possibilities
I have no job. That is obvious. Therefore, you would think that it would be important for me to accept one. Instead, I choose to be picky, to consider all options carefully before making a decision. This has led me to turn down 11 viable offers (well, really just 9 grown-up jobs). Yes, 11. I think this must be some kind of record. I have yet to send a single application, but I have 11 jobs to choose from. And, guess what. What I have chosen is my mom’s basement! HeeHee.
