I had lofty plans for this weekend. I was well-rested, inspired, and ready to change the world. Instead, I did not accomplish the following:

- Finish the book I am reading
- Find gainful employment
- Buy clothes (so I can change out of the pants I have been wearing since July 22nd)
- Buy shoes that aren't 1.27$ Wal~Mart flip flops (so when I go exploring in the Amethyst mine I don't fall into the quarry and break my foot)
- Develop a plan to reaquire everything I own from Texas
- Find any way of earning non-negative income
- Prepare info for the tax audit that was due on July 20th
- Mow the lawn, buy propane, repair deck steps, dust, etc.

Hehe. Actually, I had a pretty good weekend. I slept. Lots. I developed my super-stalker skills. I crashed my bike. I went to David Sare's camp. And I decided that my life's calling is to be a prospector. Of rocks that are small and shiny. And already have holes so that I can make jewellery. And I will travel around selling my toils. Like a gypsy. Sleeping in my tent and eating roasted marshmallows. Every day.

Sometimes things go awry when you have nothing better to do than sleep.
