I don't feel like writing anything today, but I am also bored of staring at my numbers, wishing for statistical significance in my 6 member sample. Hmmm . . . I guess I could tell you about my weekend. It was actually pretty exciting.

On Friday I went to see Shrek2, which I found to be quite disappointing wrt the first. Then, I had wings and a blizzard for the first time since I had been back (I know, can you believe I waited 6 weeks to have either?). On Saturday, I woke up at seven to learn that it was 105.9 degrees outside (41C). Now, normally I would have considered this an exciting new experience and crawled back into bed until it started to rain. Unfortunately, I was scheduled to play in 6 ball games before 7pm, so I lathered on the sunscreen, filled up my water bottled, and headed out. We had a pretty good team, but lost in the semi final game during sudden death overtime (who knew you could play sudden death baseball?). I ended up playing in the final game as a sub anyway though, coming home with yet another oversized, ugly t-shirt. That night, I was supposed to join a pub crawl, but decided my time would be better spent in bed.

Sunday I went to the rigs to go diving. Well, I didn't actually dive since I am not certified, but I got to play with the facemasks and the flippers and practice holding my breath. When we were heading home someone (possibly me) came up with the brilliant idea to race the 3 miles back to shore. I don't think I've actually swam since I was a lifeguard 5 years ago, but would've made it if people hadn't started drowning off. Then, after a barbeque, I went to play volleyball for 3 hours before crawling into bed, fully clothed and nicely sunburned.

End of weekend. I need to say that for future reference, I don't do well in the heat. I'm a northern kid, who spends the 4 days per year that it reaches 36C hiding in the office or in the hammock at the cottage. Now, I know it's only June, but I really can't imagine being able to survive anything hotter than 106F. I think my proteins have already been denatured. I fear I may melt. This has been the last time I will talk about the temperature. Promise.

Finally, Cassini has taken some really cool pics of Phoebe. It looks like a little ball of clay, or maybe food. I can't decide. Check them out and let me know what you think.
