3 Thoughts

1. Michael Moore's new movie , winner of the Canne Festival's Palme d'Or, has finally been picked up by a distributor for the US. Oddly enough, like the last movie, this distributor is Canadian. I can't say that I agree with everything Moore has to say, but the fact that the federal government made a motion to ban its public viewing is reason enough to see it. If nothing else, at least he encourages people to think for themselves, see other possibilities, and ask questions. It comes out on June 25th. I think everyone should check it out.
2. Why can't I ever say no? Someone please tell me how to politely get out of a date. I am completely unable to do it. Unfortunately, it is made worse by the fact that I really do want to go to Six Flags - just not with this particular person. Please help.
3. My book this week is What Should I do with my Life? by Po Bronson. It is not what you'd expect from the title and didn't help me to answer any of the questions I hoped it would, but it's still worth the read.
